ABOUT US
Tack & Tweed is the evolution and specialisation of a long-established Design and Planning practice,
the experience of which covers a wide variety of projects from large commercial urban schemes to
domestic extensions and many rural equestrian projects within Essex and the Home Counties and
beyond, embracing the many varied requirements of the equestrian environment, including
Conservation, Listed and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Process
Consultation
We provide a free, onsite consultation where we will discuss your requirements within the setting
and advise the most appropriate way to achieve the desired results.

Design
Once the scope of the project is established, appropriate draft proposals will be produced for
discussion, this can also include 3 Dimensional renders providing an impression of the aesthetics of
the proposal as well as superimposed images onto images collected by Drone Survey.
Planning
Once the scheme is complete, the proposal is submitted by our in-house Planning Administrator to
the relevant Local Authority, we liaise throughout the process with the Authorities and any
consultants on your behalf.

Build
The project is then handed over to your chosen builder or specialist construction company to ensure
your project is bought to life.
